Kevin is an Analyst at Klass Capital. His key responsibilities include sourcing deals, creating detailed financial models, performing in-depth industry research and monitoring portfolio companies. In 2013, Kevin earned his Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Will Anderson is an experienced operating executive with 10+ years of experience in the technology space. After starting his career as a strategy Consultant with Monitor Group, Will joined Constellation Software's Jonas Operating group in 2003. While with Constellation, Will led divisions in both North America and Europe, and completed three high ROI acquisitions in the club, construction and logistics software spaces. In 2010 will joined Iron Data Solutions as an Executive Vice President, becoming the General Manager of the 430 person Public Sector Division in early 2012.
Will's role at Klass Capital is as the CEO of Klass Software where he is searching for mid-sized mission critical solution providers to acquire. Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree from Queen's University. He lives in Toronto, with his wife of 7 years and their two children.
While working in New York City for fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, Matthew noted the many fresh food bars and was determined to successfully brand one. In 2005, at the age of 23, Founder and CEO Matthew Corrin, a Winnipeg native, opened the first Freshii location in Toronto, and won the prestigious ARC award for National Innovative Retail Concept of the Year from Cadillac Fairview Ltd. Two years later, Freshii was named one of the Fastest Growing Companies in Canada. By Dec 2012, Freshii will have 80 locations in 35 cities and 7 countries.
In October of 2008, Matthew was interviewed by Sir Richard Branson at an interactive entrepreneur's summit about the risks and rewards of owning and operating a fast growing business. "Our mission is to provide nutritionally beneficial food that energize people on the go," Matthew noted.
Matthew is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a recipient of Canada's Top 40 under 40, Inc. Magazine's 30 under 30 and the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year winner.
Matthew lives between Chicago and Toronto with his wife, two daughters, and dog. Between two young children and restaurants in 35 cities and 7 countries, he is proud to have mastered the 4-hour night sleep.
Jeff Lawrence has spent the last decade as an entrepreneur, building two successful companies prior to founding Granify. Jeff has also spent time in computational finance and derivatives, managing a billion dollar derivative portfolio for several years. An avid sports fan, Jeff lives in Edmonton with his wife of five years and their two children.
BAs President and CEO of Medworxx, Dan's focus is on increasing new license sales and services revenues, and directing the overall operations of the business. Dan brings 20+ years of software vendor management experience to Medworxx, with extensive experience in software development, marketing, consulting, and sales.
Dan began his career at On-Line Software Inc. where he headed up the Canadian operation of a $150M software business. He then went on to found and led an Education Services organization, SDLC Technologies Inc. SDLC developed and marketed instructor-led IT education courses in the United States and Canada.
Prior to taking the leadership role at Medworxx, Dan led the sales function of Open Text's healthcare division as Vice President of Sales. He earned his stripes and extensive insights into the healthcare information technology industry as SVP of Sales for Corechange, a Boston-based startup, where he led the sales team that grew both license and services revenues from less than USD$1M in 1997, to over $20M in 2001. Subsequently, Open Text, a globally recognized leader in the Enterprise Content Management technology sector, acquired Corechange in early 2003. Prior to Corechange, Dan served as President & CEO for an enterprise training and education company that delivered a broad range of instructor-led technical training to Fortune 1000 enterprises in the North America.
Dan holds a BA from York University in Toronto, Canada.
